Event Management
In early July this year, Verve delivered the ‘Carnival of Curiosity’ for our friends at LinkedIn. The objective of the event was to bring together LinkedIn Account Directors and their valued customers after years apart due to the pandemic. The event’s theme of ‘Curiosity’ aimed to inspire customers and give them insight into the future of learning in the workplace. We wanted to create an event which celebrated strengthening employees through engaging a curious mind.
We chose Regent’s Park as the perfect green, calm space to host the occasion. A snippet of paradise in the middle of central London. Verve designed and delivered over 300 invitations to guests prior to the event including wristbands and a branded information card.
Verve worked with a production team to dress the venue with large set & scenic pieces to bring the carnival to life, a large arch wowed guests on arrival and created a 360 experience along with a vibrant ribboned photo wall and a fully branded stage set up.
The day consisted of entertainment such as stilt walkers, jugglers, a steel drum band and an aerial acrobatics performance. There was a selection of food stations catering to all requirements, an open bar which went hand in hand with quirky treats such as nitro ice cream, branded fortune cookies and an edible fragrance parlour including pickled onion flavour! Garden games were hugely popular and Flamingo Croquet and cornhole stole the show.
Verve supported LinkedIn with sourcing academic speakers Robin Ince, Jenny Garrett OBE and Dr Jonathan Wilson. We wrote the script for the event and ensured that the content was engaging and the stage segments flowed smoothly.
Overall we welcomed over 200 guests to York Lawns and the day was hugely successful. As an event management company, we were delighted to see all guests in person again and bring this event to life.
