Dancing With the Stars

“Dancing With the Stars” is an American dance competition series that pairs celebrity contestants with professional dancers. Each week, couples showcase a new dance, often pegged to a certain theme or style. The judges’ scores and audience votes are then compiled, and the pair with the lowest combined score is eliminated until a winner is determined. “Dancing With the Stars” first premiered on June 1, 2005, and is set to premiere its 32nd season in fall 2023.

Throughout its run, “Dancing With the Stars” has aired on ABC. However, for Season 31, it was announced that the show would be moving to Disney+. For the upcoming Season 32, “Dancing With the Stars” will stream live on both ABC and Disney+. The show was hosted by Tom Bergeron from the first episode until his exit in July 2020. During his stint on the show, Bergeron had a series of co-hosts, including Lisa Canning, Samantha Harris, Brooke Burke-Charvet and Erin Andrews. After Bergeron left the show, it was hosted by Tyra Banks, with Alfonso Ribeiro joining as co-host in Season 31. Banks announced her departure after Season 31, and Julianne Hough will join Ribeiro as co-host starting in Season 32. Regular judges on the show have included Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Goodman announced his departure following Season 31, but Inaba, Tonioli and new addition Derek Hough are set as judges for Season 32. Notable winners of the series over the years include Shawn Johnson, Donny Osmond, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Grey, Kellie Pickler, Amber Riley, Rumer Willis, Hannah Brown, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Charli D’Amelio.
