Co-Founder / Chairman

While Ron Howard gets the lion’s share of the press, Grazer deserves equal credit for the work he does behind the scenes to expand the output of Imagine Entertainment, the company the pair jointly started in 1985. In June, he closed a deal with the Washington Post to produce scripted and unscripted film and TV content adapted from the newspaper’s archives. Two months later, he led Imagine Television into a multiproject pact with writer-producer Jason Katims (the man behind the Imagine series “Friday Night Lights” and “Parenthood”) to produce scripted TV shows under his True Jack Productions. He produced a pair of features directed by Howard — the fact-based Thai cave rescue drama “Thirteen Lives” (Amazon) and the Emmy-nominated doc “We Feed People” (NatGeo) — and exec produced Amy Poehler’s feature doc “Lucy & Desi,” which won two Emmys.

"Imagine has always played in that zone where there is that high probability chance that it will be successful in movie theaters. It's great for us, because we've built, over 30 years, over 100 different products and brands, whether it's 'Backdraft,' which I'm...
