In Romania, in the current period, occures a series of studies and analyzes, in which, statistically, they are assessed and defined multiple concepts of living. These studies were signed by researchers from the National Institute of Statistics, the National Bank and the Deposit Guarantee Fund in the Banking System.

This paper proposes an overview of the main meanings and characteristics of the competition, from a perspective of a viable and stable economic environment. Elements such as the transparency of market, regulations on entry and exit a given market, economic development opportunities or the possibilities to stimulate, are decisive vectors in boosting and potentiation of competition. That competition importance is expressed by the functions it fulfills in the implementation of market relations. Depending on the evolution of these relations, competition has extended its influence on multiple elements of market economy.

In a society of free people, obviously, it cannot be proceeded in the same mode, and as result, t... more In a society of free people, obviously, it cannot be proceeded in the same mode, and as result, the economising must be rewarded through the possibility of obtaining expendable goods, destined for later use, or capital goods, destined for productive use. In liberty conditions, there does not exist, a saving without rewards, and the reward cannot exist if the goods that it contains, indifferently if they are expendable or capital goods, do not become the private property of the person who makes the savings. The person makes savings because he has a purpose, which he freely chooses: to improve his living conditions. He can wish that for himself or others, but certainly not for strangers, or the state.

A reality today is that the economy, characterized by the expansion and development of financial ... more A reality today is that the economy, characterized by the expansion and development of financial mechanisms, cannot be conceived without the stock exchange: the real economy is reflected in the trend of stock, and, in turn, the stock can influence – good or bad – the economic life. Thus, by the rise of globalization, as instruments of capital accumulation, stock exchange has become the most effective way of targeting the capital available in the economy to the most profitable use. The market will determine which companies will be funded and what is the cost of their capital. The decisive factor is the efficiency with which companies use this capital. In this way, international stock markets have taken a central role in macroeconomic development of various countries of the world.
