🌟 New Support for a Healthier Suffolk Workforce! 🌟
Suffolk County Council is proud to launch the Good Health at Work Programme - an initiative designed to boost health and wellbeing across Suffolk’s workforce, especially for employees at higher risk of health inequalities.
This 18-month programme, led by Get Set UK, offers invaluable support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), providing resources that are accessible, practical, and impactful. Here’s what Suffolk businesses can tap into:
💼 Online Resource Hub - Practical tools and evidence-based strategies to foster a healthier workplace, with a focus on fair pay, job security, and growth opportunities.
🤝 Ambassador Network - Join a community of forward-thinking employers! Gain access to a self-assessment framework, progress through tiers from bronze to gold, and drive meaningful change in workforce wellbeing.
📈 Navigator Service - Get one-on-one support to assess your challenges and build a healthier, more productive work environment.
As Councillor Steve Wiles says, “Healthy employees are the foundation of healthy businesses.” Last year, Suffolk businesses lost 2.1 million working days to sickness absence - this programme offers the tools to change that.
