Is data and AI the key to saving the UK's biodiversity? Thanks to funding from Ofwat, we’ve been working with Anglian Water Services to try and do just that. By leveraging Microsoft's digital twin and AI technology, we've created a virtual replica of river catchments, that allow Anglian Water to unlock greater insight than ever before on the elements that impact the health of our rivers and what they can do to improve it.       Only 14% of UK rivers are considered in good ecological health and this is resulting in a biodiversity crisis across our country. By providing a solution to previously siloed environmental data, creating an integrated, future-proof solution in Azure that allows Anglian to drive new solutions to improving river health, we're doing what matters for the UK's ecosystems.
