How do you avoid greenwashing and build trust in your green claims?
There's a simple question you can ask yourself "what's your intent" (ie) do you really care about the issue or are you using it to; just sell more, tick a box. And combine that with what's the $ amount you're spending on investing in the green issue versus the amount you're investing in talking about how you're supporting the issue. (ie) does your marketing $ far outstrip the environmental investment.

You're facing demands to focus on short-term profits. How do you ensure sustainability isn't sacrificed?
It's not binary; either profits or sustainability. There are lots of ways of incorporating sustainability into everything already being done, which can be harnessed. It's also proven statistically that businesses who have sustainability are its heart, can charge higher prices, as customers believe it's worth paying more for. You can also find ways to add an "eco-contribution" into your pricing model where there is transparent communication as to what the small micropayment is being used for.

How can you evaluate the consistency of a brand's messaging across all channels?
Capturing and articulating your brand in this way (on one page) is a brilliant way of flushing out differing opinions amongst the relevant teams. All to often people think they know their brand, but ask people to articulate the vision, or personality traits and they will be wildly different and subjective.
