As we expand our offerings, we’re adding an even greater variety of sessions to appeal to different interests and needs, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to benefit from practical, job-ready skills. Derbyshire County Council are consulting on the future of design services for Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs). Due to financial pressures, such as demand rising, unprecedented inflation and costs rising for energy and materials. The council are considering three options: 1. 'For us to continue our design and procurement work, but to obtain full funding from the district and borough councils who are the recipients of the grant for all the discretionary services and support that is provided.' 2. 'For us to continue our design and procurement services but only supporting our statutory project work, ending all discretionary work for district and borough councils.' 3. 'For us to end our design and procurement work, with our statutory project work being delivered by external providers.' The consultation seeks public input on these options to ensure sustainable support for independent living. Changing Social Worlds & Failed Structures 🧐 I was just reading and studying BS 7913 Historic Buildings as its part of all 3 different qualifications, L3 Energy Efficiency in Older and Traditional Buildings, this qualification I need to assess the properties significance, age, etc, and also the L5 Diploma & the Surveyor Cert, I do have a real interest in this area and would give it a Zone factor of 2 🧐 My new books for the 3rd year Criminology & Socioligy, I would give them a Zone factor of (5), looking at the different structures between all that is Domestic retrofitting & Surveying, then reading the begining of chapter 12, Prison Policing and Social Control, need to be in the Zone, I just read a section (Foucault) 🤓 I'm really looking forward to reading these books to see what has been said past and present 😃
