Check out this great reuseable product to improve access and egress from a property. Our appropriately names access ramp (can't take credit for the name) improves access into a property in the form of a ramp rather than a large step from often uneven ground below to an unfinished plot. From past experiences, I have seen blocks being used as steps, old bricks with scaffold boards across or scaffold boards alone as a plank. Having slipped off a block and grazed my shin on the door threshold (pictures of the scar available upon request), I am more aware when approaching a property without level or improved access. Our product improves safety and access within seconds - it doesn't need someone more than a few seconds to locate in position rather than 15-20 mins of a contractor to haunch up building material up to the door level. It can be reused - rather than building material which is discarded in the skip. It is anti slip tested even in wet conditions - building material often used in haunching will "break away" in wet conditions and then need relaying by a contractor again. Good morning rise and fckin shine . We all have things todo and the longer we leave them the harder they will become . Feeling good this morning , into my 3rd week of wearing my c pk machine to help me sleep and stop the snoring . Although I look like and sound like a cock when it’s on it’s doing the trick . So todays reading is ( Difficult People ) How many of these have you or do you come across each day , It can be at work , commuting , the shops , the gym , walking the dog . I came across 1 yesterday ,stood at the bus stop with 2 old dears when this nobhead barged through and jumped the queue . My initial thought was you fcking nob I want to give you a good hiding , I thought again worked my step 1 which is powerless over people , places and things , I simply said hey mate show a bit of respect he shrugged his shoulders sat on the bus and opened a beer . He’s as sick as me . We are going to get difficult people throughout life , it’s how we deal with them that counts , Don’t be a difficult person today show some humility. August 13 Difficult people By giving unconditional love... we become more loving, and by sharing spiritual growth we become more spiritual. Basic Text, p.103 = Most of us have one or two exceptionally difficult people in our lives. How do we deal with such a person in our recovery? First, we take our own inventory. Have we wronged this person? Has some action or attitude of ours served as an invitation for the kind of treatment they have given us? If so, we will want to clear the air, admit we have been wrong, and ask our Higher Power to remove whatever defects may prevent us from being helpful and constructive. Next, as people seeking to live spiritually oriented lives, we approach the problem from the other persons point of view. They may be faced with any number of challenges we either fail to consider or know nothing about, challenges that cause them to be unpleasant. As its said, we seek in recovery to forgive rather than be forgiven; to understand rather than be understood. Finally, if it is within our power, we seek ways to help others overcome their challenges without injuring their dignity. We pray for their well-being and spiritual growth and for the ability to offer them the unconditional love that has meant so much to us in our recovery. We cannot change the difficult people in our lives, nor can we please everyone. But by applying the spiritual principles weve learned in NA, we can learn to love them. = Just for today: Higher Power, help me serve other people, not demand that they serve me. ❤️💪🙏 Jay
