Meet the Team! This month we're introducing Yash Kulkarni, our Head of Energy Transition. Yash is on a mission to develop innovative renewable solutions for Commercial and Industrial clients across the UK. He’s currently leading the way in bringing funded Battery Energy Storage Systems to life, guiding each project from the early stages to full operation, and continuously refining the process. When he's not helping businesses power up their sustainability goals, you’ll find him hitting the slopes or playing tennis. We’re thrilled to have Yash as part of the team at Zestec Renewable Energy! A great first day for the Zestec Renewable Energy team at Solar & Storage Live yesterday. Here's what we got up to... We had the honour of joining partners Guy Olian and Gaige Ross to celebrate Smart Ease's 10-year anniversary— congratulations! It was a privilege to then listen to Edward Morello deliver an informative talk on government policy and how it's shaping the future of renewable energy. To top it off, the evening was then spent at our partner Eclipse Power Networks's annual networking event, of which Zestec Renewable Energy were sponsors. It was a fun evening, bringing together partners, industry leaders and fellow colleagues. Thank you to all those involved. Onto day 2! #Zestec #RenewableEnergy #SolarandStorageLive #Sustainability

In the race to achieve net-zero by 2050, the UK's commitment under the Paris Agreement is clear. But while this deadline might seem far off, the reality is that the best time for commercial and industrial (C&I) businesses to start their sustainability shift is now. We explore why immediate action is crucial in our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/eXbP6KmE #EnergyTransition #Zestec #RenewableEnergy

Last year, the uptake in PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) hit a record high with 16.2 GW in disclosed contracted volumes. That’s 40% more than the year before, and 65% more than the year before that. Here’s a snapshot of one of our latest projects with Jones Food Company who took advantage of our PPA model. To read more about the positive impact of PPAs, check out our latest blog here: https://lnkd.in/eG-Q5UVy Let’s keep this going. #EnergyTransition #Zestec #RenewableEnergy #PPA
