Telecare medicine has the potential to improve the lives of tens of thousands of people, enabling them to live safely and independently. Next week, YHEC's Principal Statistician, Joe Moss, will be presenting an economic assessment of the impact of telecare on social care resource use and costs. R Shiny dashboards can be used to share data analysis results in a user-friendly format to allow for impactful insights that can aid decision-making. YHEC's September training courses begin with "Identifying Economic Evidence for HTA" on 10 September. The course will include a ‘jargon buster’ on the basics of health economics and economic models, presentations on key information resources including the CEA Registry, and explore options for identifying data for economic models. With the closure of NHS EED and HEED, we will focus on finding economic evaluations from major bibliographic databases.
