Our all definition of success varies greatly. For some, it's money in the bank. For others, it's having a ton of followers. Others are feeling successful if they're recognised in the streets. Narcissistic rage is a very subtle thing. It's like a toddler's tantrum in an adult body. When criticized, they lash out to regain control. So the best thing to do is to not engage. Stay calm, leave if needed. His rage is about his fragile ego and not your actions. Your safety and peace come first.

You've been working with men for years and nothing is moving. If you’re too strong, they're too weak. You no longer want to be the mother of men and raise them. You are a woman. How to deal with a “Drama Queen” man? Set emotional boundaries. His crisis doesn't have to be yours. If you can support without getting involved, you could say: “I hear you're struggling. What's your plan to handle this?” This way you guide them towards self-reliance. If you don’t feel strong enough, limit the time with him.
