LOOK AFTER YOUR MENTAL HEALTH IN THE WORKPLACE Funded by the Health Inequalities Fund 2023-24, Wiltshire Mind is working in conjunction with Wiltshire Council to pilot a counselling service for small business owners and employees. If you are self-employed, an employer or employee of a small business (up to 49 people), or you are a manual or routine worker, such as a care provider – you may be eligible for our small business counselling service, available free of charge for up to 8 counselling sessions. You don’t have to be in crisis to seek counselling. Counselling offers you a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space to talk to one of our professional counsellors about your issues and concerns. Our counsellor will help you explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can develop a better understanding of yourself and others. They’ll help you find your own solutions – whether that’s making changes in your life or finding ways of coping with problems. How can counselling help? Counselling can help you with deal with depression and anxiety, cope with stress and manage harmful emotions and behaviours. It can help you with issues related to running your own business or that affect your personal life. It can also help reduce the psychological impact of difficult work situations and support you to work effectively and productively. What do I do next? If you wish to access our free counselling service for small business owners and employees, simply email us at [email protected], and put “Funded Counselling” in the subject box. One of our qualified team members will respond to your message, and they will arrange an assessment call with you. We will talk with you about what brings you to counselling, and whether this is the right space for you at this time.
