It’s great to see teams from all around the world visiting our distilleries. They are the places that make our whisky flow and the best way to experience the legacy of the Company firsthand. Oliviah from our Nigeria team writes about a trip she hosted with some of our business partners.

A time like this a year ago, I got the opportunity to play host to our partners at our distillery in Scotland. William Grant & Sons is a company that has maintained its dedication to producing the finest drams - not just in the valleys of Speyside - but the world over.  Family is important to us. It is a concept central to the identity and ethos of William Grant & Sons, but not in the way that limits itself to bloodlines, but rather extends to those who share. Therefore, in this family of travelers to Scotland was an eclectic mix of mavericks, dram lovers, curious beginners and active stakeholders in the whisky business. The better part of the week was spent in Speyside. The cradle of single malt whisky, and specifically the home of Glenfiddich Distillery for the past 138 years. It sits in between the Conval Hills; from a far it looks like a mosaic garden with patches of barley and green fields. Depending on the time you arrive, stags roam freely, and you can see why this was the inspiration behind Glenfiddich’s identity. The penultimate treat being a dinner at the distillery, where everyone was dressed in traditional Scottish regalia and a serving of venison and Haggis. Somewhere in the night a bagpipe was played, a poem recited, glasses were raised, toasts were shared, and faces lit up in a way they only can in a moment of celebration between family and friends alike. #Glenfiddich #SingleMalt #Whisky #Speyside

We're excited to share Milagro Tequila's new ultra-premium expression: Milagro Cristalino Añejo.   Crafted with 100% blue agave handpicked from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, at peak maturity. Milagro Cristalino Añejo is aged for 18-24 months in American ex-Bourbon and French Oak casks. It is then artfully filtered through charcoal to obtain a crystal-clear liquid. The result is a distinctive tequila that delivers a balanced blend of caramel and vanilla sweetness while retaining Milagro’s signature bright agave taste.   Learn more on the Milagro website: http://milagrotequila.com/   #Pleasedrinkresponsibly

I'm excited to share that I have concluded my summer internship with William Grant & Sons, working closely alongside the New Product Development team. These past three months have been an incredibly rewarding experience where I have learned deep insights into the full packaging design process, from concept to execution, while also learning the intricacies of the alcohol industry as a whole. Having worked on multiple projects over the summer including sustainability initiatives, particularly in packaging innovation, it gave me a chance to refine my data analysis skills and understanding of the environment impacts of different materials. Presenting my work to senior management as well as external company teams and receiving positive feedback was another incredible milestone, and I'm deeply greatful to for the support and mentorship I recieved along the way. A special thanks to both Catherine Cairns and Peter Gilmour for their guidance and to my fellow intern Charlotte Donnelly. I look forward to using this experience to grow my understanding of the product design world further. #internship #productdesign #newproductdevelopment

Hendrick’s Gin in Germany explored the deep connection between food and drink by partnering with renowned two Michelin star chef Sebastian Frank and his team from the unconventional restaurant Horváth in Berlin. At a secret location outside of Berlin they hosted the Hendrick’s ArtCademy - a three-day, immersive experience for 51 of Germany’s best bartenders.   Over the course of two days, the bartenders were immersed in the fundamentals of fine dining, mastering essential skills. The event ended in a one-night-only pop-up restaurant, where 22 hand-selected guests, including journalists and artists, enjoyed unique adaptations of the Michelin star awarded Horváth menu, paired with unusual Hendrick’s Gin cocktails. #Pleasedrinkresponsibly

Evolving style, same award-winning taste.    Glenfiddich’s now famous stag logo was introduced in September 1970 and has continued to evolve over the decades. In 2008 we introduced the silhouette that is used today, recognisable all over the world.     As Glenfiddich continues to push boundaries in whisky innovation, the vision remains the same - to make the best dram in the valley.     Follow the story here: https://lnkd.in/ey8B4b2n

Introducing Glenfiddich Grand Château 31 Year Old, the latest luxury limited edition Single Malt in the Grand Series. Glenfiddich Grand Château marks the distillery's first release to use red wine casks from the iconic Bordeaux region in France. The whisky spent more than two decades in American oak casks before being transferred to carefully selected Bordeaux red wine casks for an extended nine years. To mark the launch of this special Single Malt, Glenfiddich has partnered with renowned artist André Saraiva, who designed the bottle’s interior casing and created 250 limited-edition Mr. A Artist Edition. This collaboration combines the classic world of luxury whisky with Bordeaux and street art, bringing it into the 21st century — a true celebration of French and Scottish cultures, intertwining in a symphony of art and flavour. #Pleasedrinkresponsibly

Monkey Shoulder is our award winning premium whisky, but with such a distinctive name have you ever wondered where it comes from?   In the traditional malt whisky making process, malt barley is turned by hand by malt men using a large heavy shovel. Years ago, some malt men would develop a repetitive strain injury which caused their arm to hang down – a bit like a monkey’s. They were given the nickname ‘monkey shoulder.’   Thankfully, the condition no longer exists, but we wanted to honour these men through the naming of our beloved whisky and the three monkey’s badge being pride of place on the bottle.
