Purveyor of peace of mind, passionate about all things private client and proud to assist the elderly 👵🏻👴🏽
C’mon! Really? As Warren Buffett said “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.” Sure, £25.99 is a bargain in a cost conscious climate but a solicitor adds value by: ✅Assessing your capacity ✅Assessing undue influence ✅Keeping detailed file notes to assist in later disputes ✅Advising on your tax exposure and mitigation ✅Assessing whether a trust is needed to protect vulnerable beneficiaries or provide for various individuals in a blended family situation ✅Advising on cross-jurisdictional issues and domicile ✅Advising on digital assets ✅Advising on ademption, abatement, and hierarchy of payments ✅Discussing appointment of executors, their role and replacements to avoid a partial intestacy ✅Ensuring the Will is correctly signed, witnessed and dated ✅Providing guidance, reassurance and peace of mind The list could go on… In the long run a homemade or holograph Will could end up costing your estate and loved ones MORE.
