We had a fantastic time at our first annual charity football match last weekend at Aylesbury Vale Dynamo's ground. It was a spirited contest, with our Regional team securing a 4-2 victory. We are excited to announce that our Wickes Community Programme has already reached its target of 1,500 donations to communities across the UK this year. Our stores have proudly supported projects, from creating eco gardens in Forest Schools and adding a splash of colour to a Community Hall through our partnership with Crown Paints to maintenance projects for Scout huts and timber donations to Men in Sheds Hull. Last week, we organised a South Asian Heritage Month (SAHM) event in our Watford office! It was great to see our colleagues there. We shared inspiring films. We hope our events made our colleagues feel empowered, motivated, and connected to the South Asian community. Many of our stores took part in our SAHM celebrations. Our Operations Manager in High Wycombe, shared some images of our store colleagues getting together over some South Asian food, some of which never had before. This morning we’ve shared our Quarter 2 trading update with the City. We’re pleased to report that in the first half we’ve delivered continued sales and volume growth in our Retail business, with like for like sales up 0.6%. Our TradePro sales have performed particularly strongly, up 14% in the half, reflecting a healthy pipeline of work for local trade professionals and continued growth in our TradePro customer base. Challenging market conditions have continued in our Design & Installation business, with like for like sales down by 18.3%, reflecting the continued soft consumer appetite for larger ticket purchases. Our ongoing strategic focus on our lower-priced Wickes Lifestyle Kitchens continues to deliver good results, with sales up 18.8% year-on-year. We continue to invest in our growth levers and are particularly excited about the recent acquisition of Solar Fast and have recently rolled out Solar Fast point-of-sale assets in 50 of our stores and launched the digital journey on our website.
