This time our challenge is classic cipher! You have intercepted the following ciphertext, which was encrypted using the cipher where each ciphertext character serves as the key for the next character. The initial value C0 C is standardized to 0 representing A. Using this cipher and the initial value, decrypt the ciphertext to reveal the original plaintext message. What’s the hidden message? Volvo Group reposted this
Reuters NEXT Newsmaker featuring Volvo CEO and President Martin Lundstedt Volvo Group, the world's second-biggest truck manufacturer, has forecast stagnant demand in Europe and the United States in 2025, extending a slowdown in the second half of 2024 following record sales in 2023 that were driven by a post-pandemic high in freight and construction activity. Martin Lundstedt is an industry veteran who has been at the helm of Volvo for nearly a decade, steering the group through the pandemic demand slump and supply chain disruptions. Reuters auto correspondent Abhirup Roy sits down with Lundstedt to discuss Volvo's near-term strategy, including plans to navigate the macro-economic challenges while leading the group to its electrification and automation goals. #MartinLundstedt #Lundstedt #Volvo #VolvoGroup #AbhirupRoy #ReutersNEXTNewsmaker #ReutersNewsmaker #Reuters #live #news Keep up with the latest news from around the world: https://www.reuters.com/

In 2024, Volvo Group showcased its commitment to innovation and sustainability with a series of product launches that spanned industries and continents. We introduced the Volvo BZR Electric from Volvo Buses, a global platform designed for sustainable urban and intercity travel, extending our electromobility expertise worldwide. The new Volvo 8900 Electric is built on the new platform and equipped with the latest safety systems. In heavy-duty transport, Volvo Trucks unveiled the Volvo FH Aero, a leap forward in energy-efficient trucking. For North America, the all-new Volvo VNL and its autonomous counterpart broke new ground in safety and efficiency. Meanwhile, Volvo Construction Equipment unveiled the biggest product renewal in the company’s history with 80 new and updated machines. From excavators to electric trucks, 2024 has been a testament to our drive to provide cutting-edge solutions for diverse industries while staying committed to sustainability. 2024 was transformative for Volvo Group. From material development to partnerships, our journey toward a more sustainable future took huge strides. We were the first to introduce and expand our use of low-CO2-emission steel in our trucks. This has a direct impact in decarbonizing heavy transport – even before the truck hits the road. We have signed a partnership agreement with BASF that will enable even more innovations in low-carbon materials, such as recycled plastics. The launch of Cespira, our joint venture for HPDI fuel system technology, underscores the potential of renewable fuels and hydrogen to transform commercial transportation. Sustainability is also about extending the life of what we already have. In 2024, we celebrated the first refurbished battery from our Skövde plant, providing customers with cost-effective, lower-emission alternatives and reaffirming our commitment to resource efficiency. We have also created a 50/50 joint venture with Daimler to develop a software-defined vehicle platform that will amplify digital transformation. Milence, our joint venture with Daimler and Traton Group, is building Europe’s largest public charging network for heavy-duty trucks. With charging hubs in 10 key markets long-distance electric transport is becoming faster and more efficient. The road to net-zero emissions by 2040 remains ambitious, but this year proved that collaboration, innovation, and bold action are the keys to moving forward. Together, we are creating solutions that benefit not only our customers but also the planet.
