Leading the Global development of PVCu window systems for 50 years through design, innovation and customer focus. The UK division of the VEKA Group was established in 1986 with the development of a production facility in Burnley, Lancashire. Over the years, VEKA plc has continued to expand and has invested heavily in order to develop one of the most impressive manufacturing and distribution plants in Europe. VEKA is best known for design innovations in PVC-U window systems, we have built up one of the most technically advanced, and aesthetically pleasing product portfolios available in the industry today. To complement these product developments, VEKA has now completed an infrastructure investment totalling almost £10 million. VEKA plc continues to invest significantly in the technology, plant, new products, IT and skills to equip its customers to meet any challenges the future may hold. VEKA's window system was the first in the UK to be awarded the prestigious ‘A’ Rating under the new energy ratings system. We are continually developing new product ranges to keep our customers one step ahead of the competition, with the industry's most impressive sales portfolio.     Congratulations to the class of 2024 🎓 Today I attended my graduation for Mechanical Engineering. A course I never thought I would do!! This is the result of excellent, structured leadership. Leaders who believe in, and push others forward! That's not just a nod to my manager, Paul Kennington, but to everyone else along the way! Those who stopped me from taking off when I was flapping 🐦, those who reassured me that I DID know what I was doing, and those who cheered me on each results day! 🥳 (and special thanks to my husband who became 'Chief Brew Maker') For those who maybe don't believe in themselves, you absolutely can do it!     We’re proud to be sponsoring The Great Pendleside Trek today for Pendleside Hospice 💛 The 100+ walkers should be approaching checkpoint 3 (around 15 miles!) 🚶 Pendleside means so much to our local community, every walker and volunteer involved is going that extra mile (quite literally) to raise much needed funds to continue to support the hospice and its fantastic work.     🌍 Celebrating International Sustainable Strength During Zero Waste Week! ♻️ Our journey began in Germany with the launch of our first recycling plant in 1993. Building on that success, we expanded our commitment to closing the material cycle by extending our innovative recycling initiatives across Europe. 🔷 In 2006, VEKA Group took a step forward by launching our first recycling plant outside of Germany, in France. Just a year later, we established another facility in the UK. These milestones marked the beginning of our international expansion, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable practices and the circular economy. ♻️ By recycling old PVC windows and doors, we’re able to reintroduce the material directly into the production of new window and door profile, without any loss of quality.
