UKTV and Sky🤝 Today we have announced a multi-year extension to our long-standing partnership with Sky, securing carriage for our pay channels, Alibi and Gold, across Sky platforms in the UK and Ireland, and free streaming service U launching on Sky Glass and Sky Stream. Our free-to-air channels will also continue to be available for Sky customers to enjoy for the duration of the deal. This is the first time the U app has been made available to Sky customers, bringing a line up of nearly 8,500 hours of high-quality content to Sky Glass and Sky Stream. The new agreement ensures that Sky and NOW customers will continue to enjoy the rich mix of content that UKTV has to offer, and reinforces Sky’s commitment to providing the best entertainment experience to their customers across the UK and Ireland. https://lnkd.in/ekT8hpkv

We’ve got U! This week has seen the completion of our new U Masterbrand, with our pay channels, Gold & Alibi, transitioning to U&GOLD and U&alibi across paid linear and on demand platforms. With our family of free-to-air channels having already transitioned to U&Dave, U&DRAMA, U&YESTERDAY, U&eden and U&W, and free streaming service to U, the renaming of U&GOLD and U&alibi unites the full UKTV network - pay channels, free-to-air channels, and free streaming service - under the U brand. UKTV’s in-house creative team worked in partnership with global brand consultancy Wolff Olins to develop the design system for the new U visual identity, leading to the creation of over 19,500 assets, now including the new look logos and design systems for U&GOLD and U&alibi.
