Want to report someone you suspect is doping but don't know what to say in your report? At UKAD we gather information from a number of places to create a bigger picture, and that's why any information reported to us can help us with our investigations. An example of a report could be "I overheard [named athlete & sport] talking to [named athlete] about starting a cycle of [named banned substance] when we were at [named location]." Sometimes you may not have as much information as shown in the example, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't report. If you think you have any information, it is worth reporting. Search Protect Your Sport to report your concerns confidentially or text +44 7822 023233, we won't be able to see your phone number or know your identity. 📱 https://brnw.ch/21wOilf

British professional boxer Jack Ewbank has received a four-year ban from sport following an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV) for Trafficking of a Prohibited Substance. In September 2023, Mr Ewbank was sentenced to 29-months’ imprisonment for being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property. Cocaine is a prohibited substance In-Competition and under the Anti-Doping Rules its distribution by an Athlete may amount to an ADRV. Following the criminal conviction, UKAD notified Mr Ewbank of his alleged ADRV and issued him with a Provisional Suspension. UKAD later charged Mr Ewbank with the ADRV and the boxer admitted the violation and accepted the period of Ineligibility. 🔗 https://brnw.ch/21wNXL5

What is Strict Liability? 🤔 Strict Liability means that you are solely responsible for any banned substance you use, attempt to use, or is found in your system, regardless of how it got there or whether there was any intention to cheat. With WADA recently publishing the 2025 Prohibited List, which comes into effect on 1 January, you must check what substances and methods are prohibited.
