Really proud of our excellent team who worked on our overnight programme America Decides: US Election 2024. With Calum Macdonald and Darryl Morris anchoring things in the studio, and John Pienaar in Washington, Andrew Neil in New York and Rosie Wright at the watch parties in London we covered the extraordinary story of the night, putting it all in context, and ensuring that from 3am we were telling our listeners that a Trump presidency was well and truly on the cards. Thanks also to Emma Sherry our brilliant producer and AP Cat Woolley and apprentice James Lee who worked so hard and made editing the programme a real pleasure - and Andrew Wright keeping the show on the road from the control room, and maker of our fab opening sequence and other audio touches.
