This #LivingWageWeek we are pleased to share a rise in the real #LivingWage to £12.60 an hour. Scotland has the highest proportion of real Living Wage employers in the UK. We are working with Living Wage Scotland to help more businesses get Real Living Wage accreditation.

One of the main #ProgrammeforGovernment priorities is to eradicate child poverty. Hawkhill community centre is a safe place for children to go after school so that parents can continue to work. They also host events, fundraise and have a community garden. Watch for more.

We want everyone to enjoy a safe Bonfire Night but fireworks can be harmful if used incorrectly. To help keep everyone safe firework restrictions are in place. Remember, it’s illegal to provide a firework to someone under the age of 18, with the exception of fireworks like sparklers.
