Trafford House is home to The United Stand, a business that has gone from strength to strength since joining the community on Old Trafford's doorstep. "As soon as we came in here it felt like the right place for us to be. Everyone in around the building is really helpful and always are looking out for each other, and it's just a nice mix of being able to get your work done, but also having a fun environment to be in every single day as well." The United Stand took a leased office space at Trafford House, opting to take advantage of the flexibility that Bruntwood offers. This means they were able to design and manage the space themselves all whilst we supported in whatever way necessary. More about Trafford House: → Thriving on-site community → Gym with shower and changing facilities → Well-connected location near the city centre and Media City → Shared lounge and kitchen space Read the full case study here → https://lnkd.in/eTZez7tV

🎨 With the new season underway (Community Shield doesn't count in my books), we've now officially rolled out our new social media graphics on The United Stand and That's Football! 🤝 Along with Bronwyn Paxton and Ryan Johnston, we've given our visuals a refresh and new direction, and they've gotten great responses not only in terms of comments mentioning them, but the numbers online as well.

    • New starting XI graphics. We had the formation and kit icons style for a while, and while it worked previously, the more photographic visuals work now. Very simplistic, text-based layout, in position order, with a featured player highlighted in every graphic. Slight colour variation for the Europa League as well.
    • Player signing edit - made before they officially join, dropped when the "Here We Go!" hits. Photo manipulation, kit swap and composition design. The Yoro version got huge numbers online so I've done this for all the potential/new signings.
    • Our score predictor GIF was a hit last season, lots of responses and a fun, interactive way to get involved in the match day. A tweaked background showing the stadium instead of our logo background, gives it a very atmospheric look and feel.
    • Monthly schedule graphics. Adopting the black and yellow style, but with the warmer red lower half. Photographic style with the action shot in the background, nothing too in your face so it lets the information take centre stage.
    • Our new final score graphic. A simplistic lower third - clubs, score and scorers - with the typographic background, giving the piece some overall depth. Helped visually given Zirkzee's celebration. Big up to Ryan for doing this banger last night.

🔥 The "Hot-O-Meter" has been a staple of The United Stand for the last five plus years of transfer windows, indicating who, at the time, are the most likely players to join. 🥶 But very recently we decided to give it a re-skin, as well as another addition, the "Cold-O-Meter", showing player outgoings. The top seven players to join/leave, gradually getting "hotter" towards the top with the gradient, with a score out of 10, represented by the fire or snowflake symbols - inspiration was from food menus at restaurants, showing which dish is spicier, by the chilli symbols added. It's proven to be a great source of interaction and debate among the community, being very well-received since the new visuals were introduced. A very easy to read and simplistic design that you can base a whole show around, as seen from today's 7pm show. Always fun to look back once the transfer window is finished to see just how wild some of them were!

As another season comes to a close for Manchester United, everyone at The United Stand wants to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible fan-driven community for another tremendous year. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are today. Your support drives us to bring the best possible content across all our social platforms. Fan-driven content is rapidly becoming the norm, and we believe it will soon eclipse traditional media. To achieve this, we must always stay ahead of the game with innovation, new ideas, and thinking outside the box. Here are a few stats we're proud to share: YouTube: We’ve recently surpassed 1.86 million subscribers, marking a 9.7% increase from last year. We’ve also hit over 1.29 billion views across all videos since Mark started the channel, with a 16% increase this past year. X (formerly Twitter): We’ve seen an 11.4% increase in followers, now approaching 2.4 million and since the start of the 23/24 Premier League season, we’ve had over 3 billion impressions. TikTok: We’ve experienced massive growth with a 42% increase in followers and over 7.1 million likes. We only really tapped into this platform this year but the growth has been phenomenal. We will continue to be at the forefront of fan content in the world of football and strive to keep innovating. We are also thrilled to be covering one of the most highly anticipated transfer windows in recent times for Manchester United. Excited to support the manager and the team on their pre-season tour as we gear up for next season and once again thank you for your continued support. #TheUnitedStand #FanDrivenContent #Innovation #FootballCommunity #ManUnited

New video series on The United Stand - first episode, the disastrous signing of Alexis Sanchez 👉 https://buff.ly/3UyWq16 With content on YouTube always changing as time goes on, something we found that was popular were short documentary, "The Story Of..." videos. Having watched commentary videos on the platform for years now - including the big hitters like Magnates Media, KiraTV etc. - the rise of them is more and more prominent today. Therefore this morning, we launched the first episode of our TUS Originals series. It's kind of Mark Goldbridge and I's project, something we've both wanted to do for a while now. I've done some "proper" edited videos, but nothing like this before, telling a story from start to finish on a particular player, topic, transfer, or just general curiosity. In the first few hours of it going live the video has had brilliant feedback, people wanting to see more, and that's something we will definitely do. It's something new and completely fresh!

"Attention spans are getting shorter"... Probably one of the laziest stereotypes around this generation. Our demographic across the The United Stand and That's Football is firmly 18-35 years olds... ...yet our average view duration for live watchalongs is 15 minutes per viewer! Pretty amazing when we average 60,000 live concurrent viewers on United Stand watchalongs and 17,000 on That's Football. Our audience firmly pushes aside these stereotypes. No rights. No overplayed analysis. Just community where fans can have a voice and are deeply engaged in the action. (We average 35,000 live chat messages on United Stand and 30,000 on That's Football streams!). If you're a brand or agency who wants to work with us, drop me a DM
