Patient involvement opportunity. The International Society of Endocrinology (ISE) is currently developing an online micro-learning course for Healthcare Providers (mostly endocrinologists) consisting of two modules. One on thyroid cancer with a focus on paediatrics, and the other focussing on thyroid disease in pregnancy with the support of TFI (thyroid federation international). These are scheduled for release on the ISE Global Education Hub in October 2024. To ensure the course is as patient-centred and practical as possible, the plan is to incorporate the perspectives of two patients through short videos in which they share their medical histories. These videos will serve as case studies that medical experts can use to tailor their course content. Specifically, they are looking for: - one young thyroid cancer patient, ideally pre-adult - one pregnant person with thyroid dysfunction If you are a patient who fits the criteria, are happy to share your story on video and have it published for educational purposes, with a chance to review the materials before it is being published.
