The Powerhouse Project
Professional Training and Coaching
We are a community of Powerhouses changing the face of sport 🚀
About us
In an era marked by huge strides in women's sport, glaring disparities and barriers still persist for women in the sport industry on and off the pitch. The Powerhouse Project stands to the driving force for change. We exist to make sport a more equal space because we know that if we win in sport, we win in society. Our movement inspires, educates, enables and elevates our community to become Powerhouses and the sporting leaders of the future. We are resolute in our commitment to empowering every individual with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in the competitive world of sport, with a sharp focus coaches, players, media talent and pupils. A Powerhouse embodies three fundamental values: Purposeful, Passionate, Powerful. Purposeful - A Powerhouse is driven by creating a lasting impact in sport and in wider society through their own actions and also the people they help to develop. Passionate - A Powerhouse is committed to being the best person that they can be for themselves, their team and their community. Powerful - A Powerhouse knows their position as a leader and a role model and they use their status to teach positive values and behaviours.

🚨Women’s Sport News Saturday marked 10 years since Eni Aluko made history as the first female pundit on Match Of The Day. Despite the growth of the women’s game, Eni recently spoke out about the work that still needs to be done and the need for real impactful change. “Sexism, Misogyny, Racism are Not part of the job. There is still a long way to go.” We fully support Eni and are proud to be a part of that change!

Founder of Holistic Hosier | Chief Purpose Officer at The Powerhouse Project | Sport Industry NextGen 30u30 | Ex-Nike
Five months ago, when I left Nike, I promised myself I would take some time to travel, train, and learn – I wanted the opportunity to reset and open my mind to new way of living ahead of my next chapter. I’ve travelled to Ireland, Spain, France, Croatia, Germany, Portugal, and Greece – and I’m not done yet! 🌍 I had the pleasure (and pain) of watching England at the Euros in Berlin, and witnessing the 100m final at the Paris Olympics was nothing short of incredible. ⚽️ I’ve run two trail half marathons, with a third and possible a marathon, in sight for early 2025. 🏃 I also completed a Yin Yoga teacher training with the Shala Yoga school. On the professional side, I’ve continued my work as a Yoga and Mobility Coach for athletes through Holistic Hosier. 🧘🏼♂️ I have worked with Birmingham City FC Women, delivered a session for Common Goal’s ‘Create the Space’ mental health event, and taught at Sports Direct’s tournament to support academy players transitioning out of the pro game. 🤝 I also completed my first brand partnership as a coach, which was an exciting milestone! I’ve joined the leadership team at The Powerhouse Project as Chief Purpose Officer alongside the amazing Mollie Kmita and Rosie Kmita. We’re driving change, empowering women and girls in sport, knocking down doors left, right and centre.🚀 At Holistic Hosier, I’ve expanded my focus to Strategy, Marketing and Partnerships, allowing me to work on purposeful projects that use sport as a vehicle for social development. 👨🏼💻 It’s been an incredible chapter so far – and I can’t wait to see what the next one brings! 🙏🏼 Thank you to those that have helped to support my new journey so far, there’s lots more to come… Tayshan Hayden-Smith Sam Cook Amy Merricks Emily Hale Rosa Maitland Anne Butzelaar Eiri-Wyn Pitman Dan Dodge Sharona Friedman Kunle Olafare Sue Radley www.holistichosier.com 📲
