The risk of disrupting Critical National Infrastructure is high. But the risk of running it on legacy systems is higher. How can government get around this challenge? How can putting the user at the centre of design drive better business results? We spoke to three of our associates Kyle Layland, Luke Watson and Tim Wolf about how they are implementing user-centred design in their roles to deliver stronger outcomes for our customers. Here are three of our key takeaways: 💡 Success starts with the user: Building based assumptions is expensive. By adopting a UCD approach, businesses can truly understand their users' needs and build solutions that solve real problems. 💡 Inclusive and accessible by design:  It’s not just about commercial advantage, but moral responsibility. Companies should ensure their products are inclusive, accessible, and meet the needs of everyone to benefit both the user and the business. 💡 A cultural shift for long-term impact:  By maturing UCD practices, businesses can develop tools, processes, and mindsets that put the user first to drive meaningful change. This month our Teckhead of the Month award went to Senior Talent Manager Chris Scott. Chris won for always going above and beyond to deliver the best experience for our associates and his hard work within the Talent team. Our winning Teckhead chooses a charity to receive a donation on their behalf. This month Chris has chosen Macmillan Cancer Support, supporting the Macmillan nurses in providing practical and emotional support to people with cancer and their loved ones. Congrats Chris! 🌟

We’ve had an incredible two days at the Central Gov Partnership Network (CGPN) event. We met with senior leaders from across Central Government departments to discuss the challenges they are facing, and how our radical approach to consulting could help to eliminate supplier dependency, changing the way they deliver digital services for good. A huge thank you to all the leaders we met with and got to know over the past two days, and to the Partnership Network Events (PNE) team for putting on such a productive and enjoyable event! 🚀

How can central government departments reshape their relationship with suppliers to reduce consultancy spend, drive increased value for taxpayers and build enduring capability for the future? Through our Zero Dependency framework, we are already helping major government organisations like HM Revenue & Customs, Department for Education and Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to change the way they deliver digital services by addressing these challenges.
