Great weekend coming up for the Swinton Lions on the 3rd and 4th August. Lions V Toulouse Lionesses v Fryston Warriors £10 for a family to view both games.. A new adventure taking our Lioness game to the Manchester Regional Arena to showcase how good Womens Rugby League is. love to see you at both games.

Thank you to Ian Burns & SWINTON LIONS RLFC for the invite to share the Today Team story, earlier today at ‘Breakfast with The Lions’ 🦁 As it was a business networking event at a rugby club, it made sense to talk about the journey from young lad who was desperate to play pro, to making it, then it all ending suddenly at 24 and starting Today Team Time Critical Logistics Who would have known back then, that all the set backs and injuries would set me up so well for later life… a highly frustrating time, very much like running a business (at times) 🙃 Also amazing to hear Darren Wright from Veterans into Logistics share his inspirational story, if you’re one of my haulier contacts reading this, I would highly recommend connecting with Darren and learning about his mission.

Absolutely delighted to see the continued development of our pathway system. over 50 young people turning out on a horrible night for weather. When I first took on the role of Director of Development@ the Lions, the club had no performance pathway at all. 4 years on, well its a different story. LTP for boys from 12-18, girls from 10-16. A women's team in League 1, matches played @ LTP 16s and 18s. A fantastic 16-21 LEAPP program specifically targeted to develop players for outside Super League to the rigours of championship RL. We continue to innovate and maximising potential with the resources we have. A special thankyou to Dougie Owen, Gareth Pratt, Sam Pemberton,Mark Robinson,Luke Waterworth, and all the other coaches assisting, its a pleasure working with you all and bringing the concept and ideas developed to life.

What a group! Mixing sport and business in The Changing Room tonight at our monthly get together. A fantastic turnout of members and guests at Bolton Wanderers Football Club tonight, catching up on a variety of things including over £650k of referred business in the last 8 weeks! Advice, support, deals done, 121’s, pre season friendlies and a Barry Manlilow concert 😂 were just of the things arranged and shred this month! Massive well done to Andy Heald our #MOTM, so much effort in to the group as a whole this month, hugely deserved.
