Our Pay Gap Report is live!📰 Equality, honesty and transparency are more than words to us- they’re what drive us as an employer. That’s why, even though we’re not required to, we choose to publish our pay gap report. We are pleased to share that for the fifth year in a row, we’ve made major strides in reducing our gender pay gap- and we’re closer than ever to closing it completely. Tom, Associate Director of People and Culture, shared: “Change is long overdue in our society, and voluntarily reporting on our progress (and the challenges we still face) has helped us consciously take steps to narrow our pay gaps. We’re extremely proud of the progress we’ve made and remain committed to closing the gaps even further.” Discover the full report: https://lnkd.in/dpRg6GnQ

The pressure of poverty is very real for many people in Cornwall. Poverty means not having enough resources to meet household needs, and in 2021/22, it was reported than more than 1 in 5 people in the UK were experiencing poverty (Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF)). In Cornwall, high living costs and low incomes trap people in precarious situations, which can lead to people experiencing homelessness. Every day, we support clients who are experiencing poverty, who may have challenges to afford rent, food, electricity and clothes. This #ChallengePovertyWeek, will you raise awareness of our mission to help support people who are being pushed into homelessness in Cornwall?
