It’s not quite as heavy as it sounds, just incredibly thought-provoking! Walthamstow made waves this month! From a huge local turnout outside our office to Banksy's new piece on Bonners Fish Bar, it's thrilling to see our community in the spotlight. Banksy clearly loves Walthamstow as much as we do! 🙌
Walthamstow certainly made national headlines last week! First on Wednesday when thousands of locals turned out in a show of unity right outside our head office, and then on Friday when Banksy decided to put his iconic street art on Bonners Fish Bar (also iconic - the best chips!). Walthamstow is not only where I work but also where I live with my family so it's extra exciting when these things happen in my community. Successful businesses don’t wait for opportunities; they create them. It was lockdown 2020 when we opened our Higham’s Park office, in some eyes a crazy move but it gave us the perfect opportunity to take our time and then embed ourselves in the wonderful local community. We knew the area was crying out for a more creative agent to market some of the beautiful houses and also one that represented the migration from other areas (especially Walthamstow) to E4 – Stow Brothers being the perfect fit to do just that! We kicked things off with a street window art exhibition and haven't looked back since. We've supported local schools, offered sponsorships, helped out charities, and hosted loads of events. Some of our team members even helped with snedding— basically cutting back and tidying up the local forest! And guess what?
