💚🎉The team smashed our IMPACT 24 challenge💚🎉 Every year, we hold a charity day filled with challenges, and yesterday, everyone smashed it. We managed to raise nearly £5,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Charlie Gray Devontae Irving-Young & Dearbhla Murphy walked the Victoria line in London. Tom Horrobin Maria Ramos & Ben Watts cycled from London to Brighton. Catriona Goodman joined Siobhan Gebicke, Stefani Lukic & Harriet Mitchell for a 15km walk around West London. The rest of Storm6 walked around London for 12 miles with the wider London Levin office. We're just shy of reaching the £5,000 mark, so every penny counts. Given the wide range of texts available today, students' identities should be validated through engagement with meaningful mirrors and windows of their choice. Rudine Sims Bishop proposes that educators consider the relationship between reader and texts as possible "mirrors" and "windows," highlighting reader identities and experiences through critical discovery. Today we have closed each of our global offices and everyone is taking part in a series of challenges over 24 hours. From Europe to North America, all employees at Levin will be involved and doing their part to help make a positive impact on the world. Some are walking 10 miles, full marathons, litter picking around London, donating to charity and a few are cycling to Brighton all for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
