On International Charity Day we wanted to re-share some charitable news of our own. Our Stafforce Ports division proudly supported Happy Healing Hub last month, raising £450 for the charity. Callum Leggett, the son of our Service Delivery Manager Nikki Leggett, took on an exhilarating and challenging VIP Coaster Climb at Thorpe Park Resort, scaling THE SWARM, one of the UK’s tallest roller coasters, to raise those funds. You can read the full article about the event here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eTUqHVEP #internationalcharityday #charitablework #givingback

On this International Charity Day, we reflect on the powerful impact that giving can have on our local communities. At the heart of our organisation lies a commitment to excellence, ethical operations, and a deep-rooted culture of giving back. This dedication drives our mission: "To enable people to be their best," which perfectly aligns with our CSR ethos of "Empowering People." We choose our charity partners based on having synergy with our core values and an emphasis on empowering those less advantaged than ourselves by providing them with the support to improve themselves. In Q2, we raised £4,696 for local community projects through a range of fundraising initiatives, including charity golf days and sponsored skydives. We also launched our CSR Olympics competition, where the lucky winner, drawn at random, will have the opportunity to donate £1,000 to a charity of their choice. Additionally, we proudly offer our colleagues volunteering days, allowing them to take time out of work to support local charities or projects they are passionate about. These events not only united our teams but also made a meaningful impact on those in need within our communities. But our work doesn't stop here. We are excited to continue our fundraising efforts with the upcoming Ullswater Way Challenge in October, raising vital funds for PHASE Worldwide and its 'Cine School' Camo Initiative. You can learn all about it here 👉 https://bit.ly/3ypQCjG This is all testament to our ongoing commitment to making a meaningful impact. Together, we strive to empower people and create a brighter future for all. #InternationalDayofCharity #Charity #Empowerment

Business Manager Neil Pearson, Health & Safety Consultant Tristan & the P&O Ferries Tilbury Team spent the August Bank Holiday weekend onboard the brand new P&O Vessel Longstone observing Mooring Tests while the sun shone bright!🚢☀️ P&O Ferries recently announced the addition of the Longstone vessel to its fleet, increasing freight capacity on its route between Tilbury near London and its hub at Zeebrugge in Belgium. This Ro-Ro cargo ship, chartered long term, will enable P&O to carry more freight on its North Sea network, offering customers greater capacity and flexibility. P&O Ferries is also planning to add the Longstone’s sister vessel to its fleet in late 2025⚓ We take pride in our partnership with P&O, providing their labour in Tilbury, and we are eager to see the growth of P&O's maritime expansion and the facilitation of smoother trade between the UK and Europe. #ukmaritime #portrecruitment #excitingannouncement
