The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Sport 24 have agreed a multiyear extension of their existing deal that will see Sport 24 broadcast 125+ live NBA games each season to passengers on select airline carriers and cruise lines.

Sport 24, IMG’s live sport channel for airlines and cruise ships, has announced a multi-year renewal of its partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA). A slam dunk for Sport 24 the agreement will see the channel broadcast more than 125 live games from the regular season to passengers in the sky and at sea, including the Emirates NBA Cup (previously named the NBA In-Season Tournament), NBA All-Star, the NBA Play-In Tournament, the NBA Playoffs, and the NBA Finals. With the 2024-25 season tipping off on 22 October, Richard Wise, SVP, Content and Channels at IMG commented on the exciting renewal “Through our coverage, we’re excited to be bringing passengers regular live NBA action, including the thrilling new format, the Emirates NBA Cup.
