We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Theatre team as a Theatre Manager. The successful candidate will manage the theatre team and ensure an excellent level of care is provided to all our patients. The Theatre Manager will need to be an expert in a multiplicity of surgical procedures which include but not limited to - general surgical, orthopaedic, gynaecology, urology, ENT, colorectal and Ophthalmology services. The working hours are predominantly out of hours currently due to access to the theatre suites - the benefits of this is that they attract extra duty payments to enhance the generous salary being offered. However, work is is currently being undertaken to bring the operating times in line with a more usual 09.00-18.00 operating time across the seven day week. We have an exciting opportunity within our Finance team! We are looking for someone with excellent numerical and customer service skills to do sales invoicing and provide some cover for credit control. The primary task will be sales ledger invoicing. The billing process can be complex so attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, along with the ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines are essential. Another significant part of the role will be dealing with patient queries, by telephone and by email, so excellent communication skills with a high level of empathy and appreciation of patient confidentiality are essential. Tasks will also include providing cover for credit control and processing card payments. The role will be on a work from home basis, with occasional travel to our hospital sites and head office at Margate, Ashford, Canterbury and Betteshanger. #financecareers #healthcarecareers
