We are delivering the Level 3 inspection and testing course this November in Teesside (North East), covering both initial verification and periodic inspection and testing. This is a course for practising electricians who either require an update, or have carried out very little inspection and testing work since qualifying. If access to work has become challenging with the latest updates to industry qualifications and you're having to take the experienced worker route, SparkyNinja is approved by the JIB and can apply for the EWA Gold Stripe card. This card can't be renewed and is only available to those enrolled on the EWA, which has an 18 month enrolment expiry. Next City and Guilds Largescale course is April 8th to 11th. Largescale charging points are defined as: Medium power - from 50 kW up to 90 kW (rapid charging) High power - capable of up to 350 kW (and beyond) These qualifications covers how to redesign commercial premises and public spaces to accommodate electric vehicle chargers and the electrical supply systems. The scope of works for electric vehicle charging installations in commercial premises and public spaces and the features of the electric vehicle charging equipment and associated accessories It also covers the safety requirements, maintenance strategy and technical assurance process for designing electric vehicle charging sites. We take a look at the different protection technologies, design and installation requirements for projects and look at accessibility challenges.
