Project ACHERON Delivers We are excited to showcase our assured, high-capacity digital kill chain across all echelons to support SENSE, DECIDE, EFFECT and SUSTAIN, as the prime contractor and integration partner on ACHERON.  We seamlessly integrated and delivered a groundbreaking military exercise for UK Defence across multiple UK sites and with over 12 vendors and a raft of FLC partners as part of the FCI MDIS programme.   We see technology as much more than just equipment- it is the people (and their ideas), processes and tools that allow us to apply science to problems. By connecting multiple vendor RAS assets across land, sea, air, cyber and space we demonstrated: One Defence (People). Utility of deep collaboration and #MissionPartnering across UK Defence single services and industry suppliers. Integrated Procurement Model (Processes). Value in #DE&S #FCI acquisition approaches promoting rapid competitions and spiral development to accelerate speed to value. ANY, ANY Network (Tools). Potency of a common #IntegratedTacticalNetwork across UK Defence powered by our #SNC TRAX software for seamless interoperability across any sensor and any effector.         We have pulled the future into the present on ACHERON by demonstrating that much of the Field Army’s LETHALITY Top 10 is immediately available to deploy. Project ACHERON Plug-Up 2    We had the privilege of welcoming the DE&S FCI team to plug-up 2 of Project ACHERON at St Athan, where they observed our progress first hand. Their visit underscores the significance of this project and the remarkable strides we are making in delivering a groundbreaking experimentation event aimed at expanding Defence’s capability to undertake multi-domain integration. As we approach the main phase in July, the foundational work laid during the plug-up phases has set a strong foothold for what's to come.     Our MD, Hywel Baker, said “We can be trusted to do difficult. An inspiring declaration of intent from CG RM- we share the Commandos’ aptitude and desire to deliver the improbable. We are delighted to share that SNCMSUK has been selected as the Mission Partner for an innovative digital technology requirement for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines by the Ministry of Defence’s Future Capability Innovation (FCI) team.     This contract is a commercial change in approach for UK Defence by introducing continuous delivery and evergreen ways of working in a much closer partnership with the end-user. Under a two-year initial contract, with two optional years, the mission partner construct will allow the Royal Marines, Royal Navy and wider UK Defence to sustain and scale next generation digital technology and networks into service faster than previous acquisition approaches. The contract is expected to support up to 13x new UK jobs in the South Wales and south west of England region, and support a wider 25x jobs across the UK, with over 50% going to SMEs.    Working in close collaboration with the FCI, Royal Navy and Royal Marines we will jointly redefine how UK Defence adapts to and maintains information dominance ahead of hostile threat actors. This agreement represents our dedication to fostering innovation, promoting a culture of extensive collaboration, and prioritizing our mission.   Stay tuned as we embark on shaping the future of this important digital capability and UK industrial prosperity.            Dream. We were privileged to be invited to @DefenceES at Abbey Wood this week to brief Defence Secretary, @GrantShapps, on our innovative partnering approach with MOD and DE&S’ Future Capability Innovation (FCI) group. Demonstrating our expertise in asymmetric military systems and continuous development through user feedback, we are committed to spearheading the delivery of cutting-edge capability to UK Defence and its allies.  

SNC Mission Systems UK Ltd was formally presented with the Gold Award at the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme ceremony held at Hensol castle on November 23rd.
