Daniel Zwirn, Arena Investors, LP's CEO and CIO, and Darren Philp, Founder and Managing Director of Shula PR and Policy, recently hosted roundtable discussions in London with participants from pension schemes, consultants, asset managers, and a research institution on the 38th floor of the Gherkin building. The demand for optimal risk-adjusted returns, the move away from solely focusing on cost, and the political desire of the UK government for pension funds to invest more productively, made for a timely conversation given the government's recent publication of pension consultations and intentions.
