Shell has been working with Equinor and TotalEnergies on a carbon capture and storage project called Northern Lights that will transport captured CO2, and permanently store it under the seabed off the coast of Norway. The storage facilities are now complete and ready to receive CO2, and can help industrial customers across Europe to lower their emissions.
