🌈 10 nights of Coldplay for Shack Events!! 🌈 Coldplay are coming!! The Music of The Spheres World Tour comes to Wembley Stadium in 2025! As the nights draw in we can't help but think about next summer and this is an epic reason to get excited. It's going to be a huge 10 days in the capital!! Bring it on!!

🍺 ⚽ 🚀 Speed and efficiency- developing solutions to maximise the experience for football fans. We are well and truly in the football season at Shack Events with bars at Premier League, Championship and International games throughout the autumn. With most fans looking to be refreshed at half time, football offers the unique challenge of a large, expectant customer base but with the constraints of a compact service window in which they receive their drinks. Speed of service is key. Customers want to enjoy their team uninterrupted. The solution is to utilise our highly efficient back bar system. This is a draught based system that delivers high volumes at pace. It works in 3 phases: 🍺 Customer facing team members concentrate on great service without needing to pour drinks. 🍺 The team on the back bars keep the drinks coming. 🍺 Our skilled Operations Team provide support to ensure that the Bar Team is always fully equipped. Self sufficient, slick and a combination that ensures that perfectly poured drinks are always available to fans, fast!!

👋 Meet the Team: Sophie Laxton, Account Project Manager This week, as part of our series to introduce the incredible team that makes up Shack Events, we take time to have a longer form meeting with the fantastic Sophie Laxton- Account Project Manager at our biggest venue Wembley Stadium. 🍻 What is an Account Project Manager? The role of Account Project Manager involves overseeing the entire process of planning and executing regular events. From proposing locations and creating new concepts, to ordering stock and planning the teams for the day. All steps leading up to ensuring an event day runs smoothly! I spend most of my time on site working with our incredible team, tailoring our bars to fit each event and offering our best to everyone that visits. 🍻 When did you join Shack Events? I joined Shack in August 2021, as a bar staff! I was very interested in events and didn’t know how to find a way in. I met a very welcoming and passionate team and was sold! I worked my way from Bar Staff to Event Manager and now am the Account Project Manager for Wembley Stadium! What a wild ride it’s been.    🍻 What was your background before joining the business? I have always worked with people! I was a carer for an agency that provides 24/7 care for vulnerable children and young adults, and then went into teaching. I was working for Shack part time with a dream to get into event management, and Richard Manning gave me a great opportunity that was hard to pass up on!    🍻 What you enjoy most about being part of Shack? Every day is so different, even when you’re working at the same places. Being able to work with an amazing team everyday, and find new talent is a lot of fun. Even when the days are long, the people make it much easier! 🍻 What do you enjoy away from work? I love to travel, so I am usually hopping on a plane and laying around by a pool whenever I can. 🍻 Lastly, can you tell us an unexpected or interesting fact about yourself? I am quite creative and really enjoy painting, crafts, making short films. Anything that keeps me busy and learning new skills. 

🐎 🐎 The racing season begins!! Shack bars head to Cheltenham 🐎 🐎 We head to Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday for the first meet in our season: The Showcase. The team are excited to bring a fully equipped HY van bar, Ginny the converted ice cream van and our Airstream style trailer to the Best Mate Enclosure to serve Gin, Lager and Cider to racegoers. These mobile, adaptable bars are fun, look great and are specifically designed to deal with the high volume demands of large sporting events. Ideal for a big day of racing. Bring it on!!

Accessible to all- catering for all ages by offering more than just alcohol. We love that England's Lionesses inspire a younger crowd. As we head to Wembley Stadium on Friday for their match v Germany, we have ensured that every fan is catered for. By working alongside the team at Delaware North UK to maximise opportunities within the stadium, Friday’s game not only sees our extensive range of alcoholic offerings, but the continued addition of a (just as varied) offering of non alcoholic products. Our range of: - ☕ Hot drinks - 🍩 Planet Doughnut stands - 🍬 Extensive pick & mix - 🍿 Popcorn and floss - 🥤 Lemonade compliment our alcoholic products within the stadium whilst adding to the wider offering of our venue partners and are accessible for all young girls and boys as they head to the capital to watch their heroes. We are delighted to announce that Tishana Kari-Kari has been promoted to the role of Senior Staffing Manager at Shack Events. Tish is already a vastly experienced member of our staffing team having managed several of our biggest sites in her previous role as Staffing Manager. She continues to provide extensive knowledge of Shack Events having originally begun as a member of our casual bar staff team. Fantastic, thoroughly deserved news about an exceptional member of the team. A terrific way to begin the week. Legend!!

National Football League (NFL) London Games 2024 continues for Shack Events!! 🏈 🏈 🏈 We are back for more NFL action on Sunday and will have been part of all 3 London Games in 2024 as we head to Wembley Stadium for New England Patriots v Jacksonville Jaguars. The series has been a phenomenal spectacle so far and with over 90 locations throughout the stadium offering a range of 15 different Shack Events products, all is set to be a fantastic event. Bring it on!!

Bucking the trend!! 🥃 🥃 Utilising Spirit Bars at sporting events to maximise incremental revenue for our venue partners. Bars at large sporting events are often associated with lager. With many of our venue partners prioritising lager in-house, we work to offer an alternative that complements rather than competes with our partners. By utilising a range of Spirit Bars within our offering, we have been successfully providing additional, incremental revenue at each event. These attractive, specialist bars use our unique draught system to serve high quality, high volume, spirit based drinks at the scale and speed required for large sporting occasions. Spirit Bars have been a huge success in 2024 and continue to generate additional custom, provide additional revenue for our partners and enhance customer experience at events- all whilst complementing the existing product offering of our venue partners. 2024 continues to deliver- a record breaking series at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!! 🏈 🏈 Yesterday's National Football League (NFL) London Games 2024 between the Jacksonville Jaguars v Chicago Bears saw the second of our back to back NFL games at the stadium. The NFL put on a hell of a show! We loved it! A huge shout out to Áine Maree Duffy and Maria Lee and their whole team for smashing targets over both weekends. The entire team had an amazing energy and professionalism and the results showed just that. Thanks must also go to Andrew Taylor, Lee Buckle, Cooshan Seboruth, Nadia Ulusoy, Chris Mullen and all the team at Tottenham for their continued support and our congratulations for another fantastic event.
