Bellows can be supplied individually or as part of an assembly such as a flexible element (ball joint, gimbal) expansion joint as well as variety of assemblies incorporating bellows membranes welded to end tubes, end pipes, flanges or end fittings. Our experience and versatility enables us to satisfy the most stringent of design conditions and extreme environments, with products achieving critical design criteria including spring rate, effective area and fatigue life expectancy. We supply bellows to a range of highly regulated industries including Aerospace , Energy, Automotive and Pharmaceutical, all of which have high pressure and high temperature requirements. As such, our bellows solutions are designed, manufactured and tested to the highest specifications. Senior Bird Bellows offers gimbal joints that are supplied individually but can be designed and manufactured as part of a system. They are suitable for pneumatic and fuel systems, airframe and engine, and we supply predominantly to the Aerospace industry, with clients including Airbus and Embraer. Each gimbal joint is custom designed to customer specification, with a bespoke approach to duct size, material, angulation, testing cycles, and more. We are proud to have supplied gimbal joints for a range of aircraft platforms including the Airbus A380 and the A400M military transport aircraft.
