The program is the result of a multi-year collaboration from Urban Future Lab, Greentown Labs, and Fraunhofer USA Inc. Previous participants include incredible startups like AIR COMPANY, Dioxycle, and Carbfix. C2V provides a fantastic opportunity to work with the Carbontech Leadership Council (CLC), an invitation-only group of executive leaders from corporations like BASF, Shell, Veolia, and Caterpillar Inc. The Keeling Curve Prize is awarded annually to organizations across the globe making significant strides in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This year’s prize had 500+ applicants and we’re thrilled to be amongst the 10 winners after a rigorous selection process. Introducing: Seabound’s new Advisory Council 🎉 We’re thrilled to have some of the brightest minds in the shipping industry working closely with the Seabound team to ensure that our carbon capture solution is fit-for-purpose for shipping and ready to scale rapidly. Thank you to Anders Engholm, Jan Klingsholm, Philip Harding, and Timo Glave for coming onboard and lending your expertise and insights. We’re very grateful and excited to be working with you! Read on for more information about their illustrious careers to date. Anders Engholm is a shipping executive with 40+ years experience focused on tanker markets. He previously worked for APMoller/Maersk (today Maersk Tankers) for 18 years, and for TORM product tankers for 12 years. Anders co-foundered Hafnia Tankers in 2010 where he served as CEO and Advisor to the Hafnia Pools until his retirement in 2023. Anders currently serves on the Advisory Committee of Austral Product Tankers, part of the 400+ vessel strong Ultranav Group. Anders received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Riviera Conference in Athens in November 2023. Jan Klingsholm is a shipping executive with top management experience spanning 45+ years. He began his career in 1977 with Maersk/A.P.Moller group until 1990, after which he held several executive positions with various shipping companies including the Thorvald Klaveness group, Transfield Shipping and Platou/Clarksons. Since 2016 Jan has been an independent advisor and investor, and has various board and chair engagements. Philip Harding is a Managing Director of Clarksons, the world’s largest and leading shipbroker and shipping services company, where he co-leads their sale and purchase team in London. Phil has been a sale and purchase broker for over 20 years and during his career has worked in London, Shanghai and Singapore. Timo Glave is a former Partner at McKinsey & Company where he co-led the firm’s shipping, infrastructure (e.g. terminals & ports) and transportation activities from the Copenhagen office. Timo has been an advisor to the largest players in the sector for over 20 years.
