A year on from the launch of ChatGPT, it's time for businesses to take a thoughtful, strategic look at how AI can enhance customer experience. As Capita’s new white paper outlines, implementing AI solutions requires thoughtfully augmenting human skills, not replacing them. With proper training and ethical guardrails, AI can handle repetitive tasks so employees can devote their time to what matters most: complex problem-solving and building meaningful customer relationships. The future points to AI and humans collaborating as "augmented agents" to drive productivity, efficiency and satisfaction. AI represents an enormous opportunity for digital transformation but realising the benefits requires skilled talent - and that’s where many organisations struggle. As new AI-driven roles emerge, the tech talent shortage persists. Relying solely on CVs often fails to reveal candidates' full capabilities. This is where our partner WithYouWithMe makes an impact - by helping organisations take a broader view of talent through skills-based hiring. Read UK VP, James Mclaughlin’s thoughts in Silicon UK: https://lnkd.in/dZDjhpJF
#AI is the new frontier for digital transformation and is set to change the world of work as we know it. But if organisations are to take full advantage, they need people with the digital skills to do so. James Mclaughlin joined Silicon UK to discuss the ongoing tech talent shortage and why a shift to skills-based employment might be the answer to building workforces capable of realising the benefits of AI. “New AI-based roles will continue to open up as the technology evolves and business applications skyrocket. Only by assessing a candidate’s true capabilities, rather than relying solely on what’s committed to paper, will businesses source the right talent for their needs and future-proof their workforce.” https://lnkd.in/dZDjhpJF

We are proud to work closely with disruptive tech startups and scaleups that are shaping their respective industries. A prime example of that is Level Financial Technology joining forces with six other leading providers to launch the UK’s Earned Wage Access Code of Conduct ahead of National Payroll Week. Find out more below. #Scaleups #Innovation #BusinessGrowth
BIG news for National Payroll Week 📣 We are proud to launch the UK’s Earned Wage Access Code of Conduct, alongside the six other leading providers, Money and Pensions Service and the The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP). We are launching this code on the advice of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to create a benchmark for good practice. In fact, the FCA encourages employers to only contract with providers who adhere to this code. A special thanks to the FCA's previous Chief Executive, Christopher Woolard CBE, and EY for their guidance and support in writing the code.
