Savills Investment Management and Vestas Investment Management Europe announces the signing of lease extension agreements with Prosperplast in two buildings at Beskid Park II, a logistics and production hub located in Southern Poland. Prosperplast has decided to stay in the facility leasing 21,079 sqm. in Building DC1 for an additional period of five years and 9,177 sqm. in Building DC2 for a further four years. PROSPERPLAST is a manufacturer of innovative solutions for home and garden. The company was established in 1993 and the brand is present in 80 countries. Beskid Park II is located in the Upper Silesia region in Poland, which has established itself as one of the largest clusters of production and distribution facilities for the automotive industry in Europe. The asset comprises of a c. 90,000 sqm. multi-let warehouse and production facility made up of five buildings. We have recently completed on a very exciting acquisition of a modern multifamily asset in Amsterdam’s Ijburg residential neighbourhood at the newly developed Centre Island. The six-storey Juf Nienke building consists of 61 residential units with a total NLA of 4,389 sqm, with 30 units leased in the mid-rental segment and 31 in the free rental segment. The modular, timber-framed construction, has strong ESG credentials. It has been built with materials which are either recycled or renewable, significantly reducing its embodied carbon profile, and has other sustainable attributes including solar panels, EV chargers and efficient district thermal heating. We have recently completed the sale of a key cross-dock asset in Gothenburg, Sweden. The logistics property offers 25,700 sqm of prime rental space and is located in the Backa industrial area, near to the largest port in the Nordic region, which handles around a third of Sweden’s foreign trade. The single property is let to a logistic operator and serves as a trans-shipment platform for incoming and outgoing goods as well as a last-mile distribution centre for the regional market. The building has an EPC “A” rating and has, during the hold period, seen several improvements including an extension of a last-mile warehouse and ESG enhancements to reduce its overall carbon footprint.
