OPEN FOR REGISTRATIONS - The next online training session from our ‘Active Bystander’ programme will be on Wednesday 20 November 2024 11:00-13:00. This is targeted at those in leadership positions or with responsibility for EDI/Positive Culture within an institution, who would like to further their knowledge. The RES “Active Bystander” progamme forms part of our Diversity, Inclusion and Professional Conduct strategy, and we believe is fundamental to improving the culture in Economics. The goal of this programme is to increase awareness of the culture challenges in the profession, and incidences of unacceptable behaviour; educate people on what an ‘active bystander’ is and equip them with tools to intervene safely. We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Easter School will again be hosted by the University of Bristol and will be an in-person event taking place from Monday 7 April to Wednesday 9 April 2025. This year's theme is 'Environmental Economics: Macro and Micro Perspectives'. The deadline for applications is 9 December 2024 at 23:59.
