Our latest report has been published following an evaluation of the education pilot for West Yorkshire Combined Authority Violence Reduction Partnership. Artificial Intelligence, virtual reality, deep fakes and misinformation were just some of the subjects which young people want more support around. The evaluation identified the need for further education and support with almost half of young people experiencing some form of harm, as a result of their online activity. As a result of the pilot, young people report increases in understanding of the risks and potential harms that can occur, how to reduce these risks, and where to seek support in the event of harm. In almost all our evaluations we use interactive dashboards to present information in an easy to access format as well as bring insights together for complex, multi-annual, multi-site, multi-partner programmes. The key benefit is that once set up, these dashboards can be used across the lifetime of programmes both within and beyond the evaluation. Examining data in this format really helps to identify trends which can then help to inform the investment of more time in qualitative research. We include full data handovers at the end of our projects and provide training so clients can continue to monitor their programmes directly with ease and at no additional cost. Professional and experienced grantmaker | Designing, delivering and reviewing new and existing programmes
Tonight I was to humbled to be invited to the leaving party of a colleague and close friend Darwin Bernardo It's very sad to see him leave the London's Violence Reduction Unit His heart, humility, passion, commitment and energy has been remarkable. He has been an inspiration and led by example supporting young Londoners to fulfill future aspirations, changing and saving lives. He''ll continue his work down another path, but I know he'll be back using all the connections he's made in recent years in the process. I admire the way he links and connects people, find solutions and am very privileged to have been a part of his journey, co-designing, delivering and reviewing the impact of the #VRUStrongerFutures programme and #VRUInnovationFund To see speeches from many influential people including Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London shows that they see this too. Darwin, it has been a pleasure and a privilege to meet a likeminded person. i wish you all the best for the future, though I know our paths will cross very soon! Thank you for everything and the difference you have made over the past 5 years.

Reablement is a critical element of support in helping people regain their independence after leaving hospital. Our work reviewing reablement services and the Better Care Fund for a local authority provided some helpful insight into how to measure their effectiveness. We share some of the insights from that project in our Review into Reablement blog: https://lnkd.in/eZmjBeze

On September 25th, our team debuted a bright new London office at Impact Hub Euston, located in the heart of the city. We invited members of our network to come and explore the workspace, celebrating all we do together and hope to do in the future. In addition to welcoming two new staff within our consultancy team - welcome Zubiya and Chantel! - we heard from three of our client partners on the impact they are having within their communities. From equity-based grantmaking for violence reduction, to an impact evaluation of a charity tackling youth homelessness, to peer research revealing community need, all are initiatives we are very proud to support. Thank you to all our partners for sharing their insights so generously, and to everyone who came along to be a part of the conversation. If you weren’t able to join us this time, we’ve compiled a brief recap of the main insights from our three client speakers that you can read on our website. https://lnkd.in/eMdKj4f6
