📍Army Reserve Centre, Huddersfield 💫 Last night we held our fourth and final Lord-Lieutenant’s Awards Event for 2024. Fourteen individuals from the Reserves and Cadet Forces in West Yorkshire were recognised for their unwavering commitment to service and dedication to their communities. Thank you HM Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Mr Ed Anderson CBE, for officially presenting certificates to the award recipients, including the newly appointed Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets of West Yorkshire. An extended thanks 4th Battalion, The Royal Yorkshire Regiment for hosting last night’s event and to The Band of The Royal Yorkshire Regiment for their brilliant musical performance. We had the chance to chat with the new Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets of West Yorkshire Able Cadet Jessica Wood, Cadet Company Sergeant Major Callum Dickson and Cadet Warrant Officer Jake Thomas who shared with us about what it means to be a cadet and the cadet experience. Congratulations to all.
