Huge Congratulations to our Founder & CEO Kirsty Gale who won 'Business Person of the Year' last Friday at Wembley Stadium at the SME Business Awards National Final. Kirsty has worked tirelessly this year to achieve & exceed company targets, despite her diagnosis in September with stage 2 breast cancer, for which she is still undergoing treatment.

Last Friday, I was announced as Business Person of the Year at Wembley Stadium. Thank you to SME Business Awards for the recognition. I truly am honoured having seen the talent and intense selection process that the judging panel went through on performance, profits, growth & more that we went through to win this. Thanks also to every member of staff at Red Carpet Ready - we are daily fighters & succeed in whatever we put our minds to as a team. I am absolutely thrilled to win Businessperson of the Year as it’s been a really tough year for me personally and I was up against some of the UK’s top male and female entrepreneurs. I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer in October. I recently underwent emergency lumpectomy surgery and will face an intensive course of radiotherapy in January. Above all, this diagnosis has been a catalyst to achieve even greater success. I’ve tried to turn something negative into a positive and used it to fuel my ambition. Becoming a market leader is hard work but staying on top is even more of a challenge, which is why I’m constantly striving to lead from the front and exceed customer expectations. From the SME National Business Awards: "This year, we have had a record number of entrants into the SME National Business Awards. Reaching the finals is a huge achievement in itself, especially considering the wealth of talent and the calibre of entrants for 2023. The Business Person of the Year award is one of our most highly sought after categories, so to take home the gold trophy is a testament to Kirsty’s hard work and determination. We are pleased that her efforts have been recognised and awarded at a National level". #businesspersonoftheyear #winner #wembley #smenationals Wembley Stadium nowsite Events and PR The Lincolnite MyLocal Business Lincolnshire Lincolnshire Live Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Lincolnshire Echo TheBusinessDesk.com BBC Radio Lincolnshire Lincs FM Team Lincolnshire Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Macmillan Cancer Support National Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Ribbon Foundation
