RCV is proud to be investing in the next generation of engineers. We are pleased to announce that Calum Matko has successfully completed his under graduate placement with RCV Engines. During his placement Calum has made a very valued contribution, playing an active role as part of the Assembly and Testing Technician team. Calum had many achievements during his placement, two notable ones were the completion of the assembly manual for our single cylinder engine and another helping equip and commission the new test cells. Simon Wootten, emphasised the importance that RCV places on bringing fresh and talented engineering students into the business; “Calum has been our first placement student and it’s been a great success both for us and Calum, it’s testament to the staff at RCV and the culture we nurture that the whole team welcomed Calum with warmth and encouragement 👍 ”. We are also excited to welcome Charley Watts to the team as our first Graduate Placement. Charley graduated with an honours degree in electronic engineering and started his placement with RCV in August. He is already making a valued and positive contribution. RCV are excited to soon be welcoming our next Under Graduate placement student from Bournemouth University.
