Newton LDP was instructed by Rainier Developments to market land at Banbury Road, Chipping Norton, which has Outline Planning Permission for up to 90 new homes. Following a competitive tender process, Cala Homes recently purchased the site, having exchanged contracts in just over 4 working weeks from receipt of Best & Final Offers. Richard Foxon, Managing Director of Newton LDP, said: “Bidding for this site was fiercely competitive with almost 20 bids received and seven parties shortlisted. Despite the current economic climate, it demonstrates the high-quality nature of the scheme and the strong demand for development land in this location.” Rainier Developments was advised by Richard Foxon and Piers Beeton MRICS of Newton LDP.
