Congratulations to our non-exec deputy chair, Ken Lever, for being appointed the non-exec chair of Marston’s brewery effective from today. At the time of writing Martson’s shares were trading at 36p a daily increase of 18.5% since the announcement with a market cap of £232m.

Rainier Developments has unconditionally agreed to purchase Ipsley House - a near 70,000 sq ft former head office building in Redditch – in a seven-figure deal. Rainier Developments’ proposals to transform a brownfield site near Nottingham train station into a housing development have been approved by the city council. Plans to build 191 one and two-bedroom apartments on the derelict 0.62-acre site on Waterway Street were voted through by Nottingham City Council’s planning committee, after the proposals had initially been recommended by planning officers. Plans to transform the site of a derelict Nottingham office building to create a residential building of almost 200 apartments look set to move forward Rainier Developments and Strategic Land

Rainier Developments Limited has agreed a deal to bring forward a major regeneration opportunity at Sandy Lane Business Park and Sandy Lane Industrial Estate in Coventry. Rainier will bring forward new proposals and submit a planning application in due course, following detailed discussions with Coventry City Council, key local stakeholders, and a public consultation process.
