A supply chain as smooth as predictive text? It’s possible, and some of the top performers in consumer-packaged-goods (CPG) are leading the charge. 📦 Our research across more than 140 use cases has shown the value that CPG companies can generate by committing to digital and AI investments. In brief, we’ve estimated that gen AI use cases could increase the economic impact of traditional AI by 15 to 40 percent, unlocking an additional $160 billion to $270 billion annually in profit (measured by EBITDA) for CPG companies globally. But to succeed, all the subsectors and their ecosystem partners need to embrace this chance across the entire supply chain. Consumer good players will need to hone in on six areas of innovation and commit to long-term, large-scale, iterative effort – but if they do, they have a chance to bring about the next great technological revolution in CPG.
