Our Singapore office were out recently in force at the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC) this year which took place from 4-7 November. Having completed his doctorate in Physics at Oxford, Dr Williams is currently Professor of Atmospheric Science at the University of Reading. He is a world-leading expert on aviation turbulence and is the scientist responsible for discovering that turbulence is increasing because of climate change. As part of his accomplishments, Dr Paul has published two books and over 70 papers in leading scientific journals. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics and the Royal Meteorological Society. Additionally, he is a consultant to Guinness World Records on extreme atmospheric events and provides frequent expert commentary for major broadcasting networks including the BBC, CNN, Discovery Channel, and The Weather Channel. He has also been quoted on the front page of the New York Times.
